Hello from Nebraska

How's things going! I'm currently going to Grad school in NE.

I've currently got 2 horses and trying to restrain myself from buying more .

I have a 4 yr old Tb gelding (Mercury). I'm currently trying to get him broke out and I'll use him for a little bit of jumping, but because of bad confirmation on his back end he won't be able to get me very far. So I'll probably make him a lesson horse.

That's the reason I bought my colt Cobalt in utero. His dam (Swedish Warmblood) is a beautiful mover (she was bred for dressage), and I broke out his sire who was exremely intelligent and level headed (AQHA) so as soon as I found out Britta was bred I bought the baby.

Just bumping this to the top for a reintroduction. It's been awhile since I've done much posting on this forum. Info is pretty much the same except my horses have aged a tad

I've been alone for soo long!

Welcome, welcome, welcome!!!!!

So what grad school are you at? If you don't mind my asking. Not sure if you're familiar with SE Nebraska, but I'm from a midget town down there that no one has heard of, lol.

Have fun posting!

LOL! Don't worry about it! I actually haven't been active since 2006 and am just starting back to this forum. I think I'm sticking around this time too! I've been going to school at UNL in Lincoln. I've only been here for 2 years and aren't too familiar with too many parts of NE. Good to see another Nebraskan! Let me know if you ever bring your horse (or yourself) to the Lincoln area and we'll see what we can do for a small forum get together!

Thanks! I don't really post many pictures anywhere... these pictures are from a couple years ago when I first joined. Cobalt is 2 now and definitely doesn't look like a baby anymore!
