    Hello from SoCal!

Hi everyone!! I am so happy to have found this forum!

I have had horses for about 10 years now. I currently am owned by 3 horses who are all lovely.
Monroe is my OTTB whom I have had for about 6 years now. He is a very, um, special boy. He is a quirky ham who gets into EVERYTHING. He will be 13 in April but still acts like a 2 year old. We are into Three Day Eventing, although we have been on hiatus since I was busy getting married/settling down this past year. We are going Novice consistently, schooling Training. He has the capabilities to go further, but I am rather chicken and not competitive at all so we are taking it slow

Addie is my Iberian WB filly. She is an absolute doll! She is already waaay more well behaved than Monroe! She will be 2 this coming May and I plan on starting her myself when she is around 3. She is fearless and will already go over poles on the ground and small x's, so hopefully she will be my next superstar!!

Sunny is an approx. 15 year old QH that we rescued. He has arthritis and navicular, partially due to his bad conformation and partially for having insensitive owners who roped him into the ground regardless of said conformation (the owner was a vet, so he knew better...) I am happy to say we have him finally off of bute and isoxuprine completely and are able to do light trail riding with him. We took a lot of weight off of him and started corrective shoeing and he has improved tenfold. Most days it's hard to tell he has any soundness issues.

Well, that's my spiel on my horses, and you get a virtual cookie if you made it all the way through!

Hello, and welcome to the Forum!
Peeked at your horses, especially like your mom's Sedona
, but then I am kind of partial to spots....
Glad that Sunny is with you now, sounds like he is much better off.

    New from So Cal.

So Cal is still a big area! I am just adjusting to a new horse, tried a new saddle pad & bridle on him tonight~all that went well. Am hoping to ride tomorrow while the weather is optimal~~Are you anywhere around Norco?

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, Sedona is amazing! She has me turned on to Apps over anything now. She was a great teacher as my first horse, and I am glad she has retirement with my mom who spoils her rotten!
As special as the bonds I have with my other horses (Monroe especially..) I truly believe Sedona is my Heart Horse...<3

I love NorCal! MH and I honeymooned in SF and Napa and absolutely fell in love!
While in Napa we took a horsedrawn carriage wine tasting tour and it was amazing!
