Hello from Utah

I've been on hunting dog forums for years but this is my first time on a horse related forum. (Shagrunner refers to the English setters I breed, hunt and trial). I've ridden all my life but just got into owning horses about 6 years ago. It was the result of being involved in the field trialing of dogs which is done primarily from horseback. I was introduce to the TWH, which about 90% of field trialers ride, and have been hooked ever since. I currently own 2 TWHs and 2 Rocky Mountain Horses. I just got my wife of 35 years to start riding. A big factor was just how beautiful the Rocky Mountain I gave her is. She fell in love at first sight. (Chocolate with flaxen mane and tail).

I hope to learn a lot here and contribute when/if I feel I have something to offer. I'm also always interested in hooking up with people in our area who want to do some serious trail riding in our Rocky Mountains.
