Hi! I'm new to the Horse Forums, and I would like to introduce myself to the other members around here!
My favorite horse-sport is Thoroughbred racing, and the breed had stolen my heart! I love back-tracking their pedigrees.
Though, lately I've wanted to get to know about the other breeds' history. Especially, influential sires/broodmares, each story I hear always seems to fascinate me.
I live with my family right now, and while I can't take care of a horse. I plan to at least volunteer my time somewhere to a shelter, after I'm finished with school.
I'm still in a teen. So, I probably will have plenty of time to learn my "horses.” Right?
Another Virginian here. Yes, there are plenty of horses in VA, especially since the Virginia Horse Center is in Lexington, and is a major draw for a lot of breeds and shows.
I have 3 horses at the moment, two Arabians and a TB.
Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of great people here.
Oh bummer, you're two hours from me. The Center is very unique and I honestly can't think of anywhere else that is even remotely similar. Beg your parents to take you one day, it's showing heaven!
