hey everybody

Hi to all....I'm new around here so I thought I would introduse myself.

I live in western Ky and love to ride horses. I was raised riding but drifted away in my adult life. Now at the age of 40 I have convinced my wife of 20 years to let me buy a horse. So now I have two, a 13 year old qtr horse by the name of Sugar Foot and a 14 year old (actually my 9 year old daughters) named Buddy. We spend most of our time riding on our small farm but plan on taking a trip to LBL when they open back up.

Welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy it here :)
It's always nice to hear about people getting back into horses after years away.
Have fun posting. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome and what fun to be able to share your horse interest with your daughter. That's one lucky little girl.

Welcome Is LBL land between the lakes? My husband drove through there several years ago and has always dreamed of a horse trip there. I have family near Lexington....maybe one of these days

Yes LBL is Land between the lakes....aka....wranglers campground. I live about 60 miles from there and it has been closed because of the bad ice storm we had last month.
