Hey guys

I'm Leah, I'm 17 and I've been riding for 9 years. I've rode hunters, equitation, and dabbled a bit in western until I found my love for dressage. I'm on my schools swim team and the Commanding Officer of my NJROTC unit. I love photography, sailing, hiking, and scuba diving.

I "free lease" a 12 year old Quarter Horse named Big Boy. He's 16.hh and basically just a fun trail horse that i hack around on. My parents good friends own him and they no longer ride, so they've basically given him to me. It's a good deal, all the props of owning a horse at a fraction of the cost.

Duke is my barn owners 21 year old Thoroughbred gelding, she graciously lets me takes lessons on him and take him to shows. He's somewhere between 16.3 and 17h and used to be a winning race horse back in his younger days. And he's holding up fantastically for his age.

That's Big Boy

And this is Duke

Howdy ma'am and congrats on being your NJROTC commader. and enjoy the the Ride

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.

Do you pronounce it "Lee-uh" or "Lee?" I pronounce it "Lee-uh," but everyone always says "Lee."

I pronounce it "Lee-uh" too, but only a handful of people have ever gotten that right on the first try. They usually end up calling me "Lee" or "Lay-uh". I really don't see whats so hard about it though; if you sound it out you get it right lol!

I know. I get "Lay-uh" all the time. Or worse, "Princess Leia." -rolls eyes-

Phonics - sound it out!
