Hey There!

I just joined the forum today and I wanted to say hello and introduce myself!
My name is Anna and I live in Michigan. I have been riding and showing for about 11 years. I currently own an Arabian/Paint gelding named Buckshot (thats him below). He is my baby! I am in the process of training him to ride.
I am a member of a local horse club and we barrel race and go on over night trail rides in the summer. Since my horse isn't ridable yet I ride my club leader's horses. I'm known in my horse club to ride any horse, no matter what level of training they have but my favorite is the Arabian of course.

I am homeschooled and currently a Sophomore. While the summer is dedicated to the horses the winter is dedicated to my dogs. I race sled dogs in the 4-dog sport class in races all over Michigan.
I have a kennel of 9 dogs, 6 sled dogs and 3 pets. I also have 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 5 chickens, and then of course my horse Buckshot.

That's about it! I look forward to meeting everybody and joining in on some horsey talk!

welcome! I love your horse, and would love to see your dogs too, I love sled dogs, and have always wanted to learn to be a musher.

You are never better than anyone. Every rider has skills they need to improve. The only one you must compare yourself with, is you.

Welcome to the forum! What a handsome fella! Sled dogs - way cool! My hubby trains bird dogs. I've been telling him I want to find someone to teach his Drathaar to pull a sled for my 5 year old daughter to cruise around on in the winter. Maybe you could give me some dog tips! :)
