Hi there, all!

I like the variety of perspectives offered in this forum, both on matters as barn owners and boarders, and more simply and most importantly, amongst caring horse owners . As a barn owner, it is interesting to see what boarders "really think" without them having the fear that their thoughts will be "found out". I feel that the ability to be open and forthcoming is key in developing a working relationships between boarders and barn owners... however, in this business I've found that sometimes it can be difficult to cultivate and maintain that.

Sooooo, I hope you don't mind when I post looking for insights. I've always only ever been a "barn owner" and not ever a "boarder", so I guess it helps to hear it from the "other side" or to put the "shoe on the other foot". Look forward to meeting you!

Green Broke
Hi, welcome to the forum! I boarded for awhile until I was able to get my own place. I can't say enough good things about where I boareded, they were great...even when they told me I fed my horse too many treats and to stop it! Guilty, even now!!

Hi, welcome to the forum! I board my two horses and love the place I'm at. There's no drama(I'm the youngest there), everything is always clean, everyone is always willing to help out and it's lovely. (:

Hi, welcome. I have the same thing to say as Legyield.

I don't even want to own property. I am a city girl! So I am very happy boarding.
