Hi from Argentina!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around here for the past few days, so i figured I would register and introduce myself properly.

I'm Luce, a Dutchie who moved to Argentina a few years ago (2.5 if I'm not mistaken). I've been crazy about horses for as long as I can remember, but have never been in the position to own one (yet!). I used to have weekly lessons at a barn where all the lesson ponies were 'older' horses (think over 25) and had lessons there for 3 or 4 years (from my 9th till 12 or 13). Then I quit since my barn was very far away (about an hour by car) and the lessons were expensive, and since I had also become interested in rowing, my parents found that a better alternative. I have regretted that decision every day since.

In April of this year I finally started lessons again in a barn here in Argentina. It was quite difficult in the beginning to understand all the horsey terms in Spanish, but im catching on! Me and my trainers are mostly working on my seat now, its so difficult to think of everything at once!

I hope to one day be a good enough rider to own my own horse. For now however I am just concentrating on my lessons along with starting and finishing uni and saving up to be able to buy a small farm some day where I can keep my horses near my house.

Apart from horses I am slightly obsessed with several TV shows, and am also recently getting into Musicals, but i still spend most of my time on the internet reading about horses and watching videos to learn as much as I can!

From what I saw around the threads there are many nice people around here, and I hope to get to know some of you soon!

Welcome. I think you will find there are many very fine horses available in Argentina. I bet your progression as a rider will speed up radically.
