Red face Hi from Aussie Horse Lover

Hello

I am new to The Horse Forum.

I keep two very different chestnut mares in as natural a way as possible in lovely rural Australia. This means they are out 24/7, barefoot, unrugged and grubby.

I'm looking forward to getting some advice on horse keeping and training and sharing stories about my girls, Sienna and Piper.

I'm on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Port Macquarie area. I love having horses in Australia, although the summers are a bit harsh.

No matter what road I travel, I'm going home and if I'm riding a horse I am halfway there.

Welcome to the forum!

I love NSW! It's a lovely place :) The summers are a bit to get used to aren't they :P Can't wait to see more of you and your lovey horses!

There is one principle that should never be abandoned, namely, that the rider must first learn to control himself before he can control his horse. This is the basic, most important principle to be preserved in equitation - Alois Podhajsky
