Hi from Central Alberta!

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I am finishing my last semester in college and will graduate in a few months with a degree in journalism. I spend as much time as I can with my new 3 year old, Bloom.

About a month ago my almost 4 year old gelding, who was also Bloom's older brother, passed away. He suffered from damage to his spinal cord in his neck. At first it was very hard to work with Bloom and accept her, but with the support of my coach/friend D and my good friend kstinson, I was able to work through the grief of losing my best friend.

My first horse was a little bay Anglo Arab colt with four white socks and a star/blaze. Jake taught me a lot and we did lots of trails and trips to the mountains together. Jake is 12 this year and is now living with a loving family near the mountains. I have become close friends with the family and enjoy watching their 17 year old daughter take Jake to 4-H and jumping lessons. He is doing what he does best, raising young riders!
