Talking Hi from Colorado Springs

Hey all! I joined about a month ago and am just now getting on :)

I've been riding for about 3 years now and really love it! I have a quarter horse gelding Skip and we are learning dressage. I started jumping before I should have so I'm back to basics and once I have that down pat, I'm going back to jumps. We also have two Appy/QH crosses that were given to us and are a lot of fun, Cutter and Skamps.

Look forward to "meeting" everyone through your posts!

Hey there!
You ever do clinics? You interested in Natural Horsemanship at all? Check out Mark Rashid. He is in Colorado. And Harry Whitney. I think he is either in Colorado or New Mexico.
I live in Washington state. It's just as rainy here as they say! I hope to get out for a trail ride tomorrwo. Has been rainy and windy for like 4 days nonstop!
I don't have an arena nor a teacher , or I'd be doing dressage again. It is really a great foundation for all kinds of horsemanship

Tiny, I have been to Clinton Anderson here at Noris Penrose but so far, that is all. I'll check out Mark Rashid if I hear of anything. I agree, I'm learning more in a few months of dressage than I learned the other two years I've ridden. ;) Weather is usually good here in CO but I'm an east coastie and ready to get back. My husband retires from the Army in about 6 years so we'll be heading to KS next and then onto TN I'm hoping.
