Welcome Julia!
My mother has the same name. And have you seen the movie Julie and Julia? About Julia Childs? She was a Francophile (someone who loves all things French.) I studied French in University, but that was many years ago (I am much older than you). I have been to Paris, but only for a very short visit. Paris is AWESOME! I should go take French lessons again so that I can speak it better. Your English is better than my French, for sure.
I have been riding for 11 years, but since I started as an adult it is harder to learn, much eaiser to learn when you are young.
Anyway, welcome to the forum.
