    Hi from Germany

    Hi everyone

My name is Eva, I'm 23 years old and I live in Bavaria, Germany - so please forgive me if my English is not perfect

I own a 4 year old Paint Horse Gelding, his nickname is Billy or Bolle - and he is the greatest treasure in my life, the best pal one could have. Our goals are to ride a perfect Western Pleasure one day - but I think this is going to take a while, since I started training him under saddle only half a year ago ;)

I'm looking forward to having a great time here and meet lots of new people

Wow! You both look very nice. Very "Western". I didn't know Western Pleasure was so popular in Germany. Anyway, your English is very good, so no worries there. Welcome to the forum!

    Hey
I just came back from Germany on Friday night and have offically fallen head over heels in love with it
I want to go back hopefully in Dec/Jan at the end of this year to see snow.

Is Bavaria up north or down south?
I stayed with family both up north and down south, first in a little village outside Ravensburg, Illmensee (I think that's correct spelling) then went up north on the bullet train to Soast.

You and your horse look great :) Hope to hear more from you

Thank you, I feel very flattered The Western scene is not extremely popular in Germany, but Western Pleasure is one of the most liked disciplines. Actually I love Reining, but Billy isn't a Reining horse, he loves Pleasure, so I am adjusting for him

    Hey
I'm glad to hear that you love our beautiful country Bavaria is in the south-east, my hometown is near Nuremburg, if you happen to know that. And yes, we do have lots and lots of snow

Please note the height of the snow wall on the left

    Oh wow
    That is amazing
Makes me even more determined to go, I am even going to try and learn german.
Bought a cd of How to learn German as courses don't seem to be that popular unless I travel about an hour to and from.
