My name is Francesco and i'm from Italy, i have three equines: an Haflinger pony, an Italian draft horse, and a mule.
i joined this forum because almost no one rides mules here in Italy so there's very little knowledge here about saddle mules, luckily i can write and read english decently so here i am.
Hello! I hear Italy is very beautiflul, I am planning on living in Rome for a year or two when I am out of collage. Well, welcome and I can't wait to see pictures of your equines!
Italy has many good places for trail riding as long as you stay away from big cities, luckily i live in a really good spot (in Lunigiana, northern Tuscany) with a maze of riverside and hill trails.
anyway, here's a pic of my "team", from left to right: Jimmy, 22 years old Haflinger gelding, Lampo, 34 years old Italian Draft gelding (still healthy, strong and rideable) and Nerone, a sweet gentle 5 years old john mule.
Been to Italy myself a 100 times ! Palemro, Sicilia and of course SIG !
Spent a whole summer in Cagliari Sardengna !
Several times to Taranto,Rome,Liverno,Triesti and Pisa !
MORE times than I can remember to Napoli ~
Glad you are here Francesco
