Hi from The Netherlands

I just joined this forum and I like it.

I am 40 years old, live in The Netherlands and I planning to move to Canada. I hope to bring my horse along. So I am looking for information about boarding a horse in Vancouver/Vancouver area, transporting a horse from Europe to Canada (tips welcome!) and so on.

My horse is a crossbreed Exmoor pony x Andalusian. She is born in the wild and I got her when she was 11 months old and just serparated from her mom and her herd. Of course she was very scared of everything and trusted no one. I kept a training diary all those years and it is very interesting to read in it. I blogged a part of this training diary, but it is in Dutch. ;)

I am a certified Centered Riding instructor. The rider's seat is my specialty. Besides that I am very interested in horse behaviour and trainingmethods. I studied Animal management and I learned a lot about animal behaviour and trainingmethods. My passion is teaching people.

When you want to know a little bit more, just ask. :)

Thank you for your warm welcome.

My plan is to translate my training diary some day.... But I haven't done a lot of updates in Dutch. But is is on my 'to do list'. First things first: emigrating.

It is almost sure that she comes too. But I still have not clear what the total costs are... Still working one that one.
