    Smile Hi from SE Phoenix

I am also new to the forum. I live in the SE Phoenix Metro area and have one sport shire mare who is such a great girl. I got her about almost 3 years ago.

I recently lost my job (well if recently is October) and am looking at trying to get in touch with people who also own horses who might want a vacation and therefore someone to watch after thier horses and other animals while away.... I've been doing dog sitting, but I'd also like to find out how to get in touch with other owners who want to take a vacation for a bit.

Anyone have ideas on where to post or advertise in AZ?

Of course I have plenty of time now and would love to try and have this help me out while the market is down.

    Thanks for any ideas!

I'd start posting flyer's in feed and tack stores. You might also see if there are any riding clubs in your area. They would be a good place to get some word or mouth vibe going. I've often thought of starting a business like that. I have a strong farm background and most farmer/ranchers can't get away because of livestock.
Oh, and welcome to the forum

Phoenix is very often on TV, on Animal planet, do you know?

In each case Welcome to the Forum!
