I am new to the forum.
At this time I have one horse... a TB 8 year old gelding from the track. My family hs been in the horse business for years and I made a stink about sending my horse to race and so my father ended up giving him to me before that happened! He was weeks aways from his first race...
I have been dealing with mnay injuries and surgeries for the last 5 years so my horse has been down in Calif. On my parents old ranch. DUe to my injuries I have not been able to have him here in my home State.
A few weeks ago I brought him to his new home, and we are now dealing with some foot issues...
I made a post in the horse health section...I need advise on the diagnostic tests/resuts...
I sm still learning the navigations of this forum.
Anyway...
We will have an ultrasound on next thursdau and then shoes put back on per the vets direction...
Since I was little I have been around horses, and I started to ride at age 5-6 I think. Over the years I have ridden and trained many different horses for different things, but mostly for 3 dya eventing, but I don't mind riding in any style or dong groundwork and working with other in and their horses.
For a long many years horses have been missing from my life until about 8 yrs ago when my horse was born.
When He came home from the race track training I unfortunately ws injured and have gone through a lot...so not been riding for years...
My horse and I have a long road ahead and I need all the support I can get...
