Hi there, I'm new...

and just wanted to say hello! I have 3 horses who I love to death, who are all Quarters. I am also the director of a kids summer riding program and have about 50 horses that I get to deal with. :) Recently I have found myself taking on more and more responsibility with camp and found this to be a great resource. Hope all is well with everyone, and I look forwards to getting to know you and your horses!

Welcome.! YOu are working in a kids' riding program, summer only? That sounds like both fun and a real challenge. The responsibility must be a bit heavy at times, I mean keeping everyone safe and such. But bringing kids and horses together is so wonderful. To keep equestian activiities healthy we need to constantly bring in a new generation. If we don't , then people wont see the value to having trails for us to ride on, parks to ride in, arenas for showing and places to take lessons, dude ranches to ride at and what ever else you can think of. It's a valuable service to bring on the beginners.
