    Hi from Virgina

Hi! My name is David and I hail from the Virginia foothills. I have enjoyed riding all my life but it is now in my later years that am able to embrace this passion.

I have recently obtained a small parcel that is already equipped to comfortably house a couple of horses along with my humble home.

I have been riding alone for quite sometime when the opportunity presented itself with my schedule. Now that I have more free time I am excited about the direction my life is taking. Hopefully, I will find someone to enjoy these times with and not have to the solitary rider anymore.

    David

Welcome! I know what you mean. Sometimes it's nice to ride with others. Other times, I like being solitary

Yeap they are simular.. My guy has been lame on and off since May. Stifle so it's a waiting game...rest..I hope he gets over this. He was a rescue from new holland and was on the thin side.He was good up untill now.I don't know anything about his history. Other than some one abused him..He is really a 1100 lb lap dog...So he has the rest of the year off...Then we'll decide....

Welcome to the forum! I don't really like riding alone either. I did take Corgi (from here) riding this past weekend and we had a lot of fun down in Lake Anna. I have also traveled south 3 times this year. Twice down to exit 80 off of I-81, and once down to exit 45...then on down home off of exit 14 (both off of I-81) I think you will really enjoy it here!!! Lots of people to meet and a wealth of information!!!!!

Oh, and Mingiz, when are you planning on going to Graves? I may not be able to ride, but it would be nice to meet ya.

We are suppose to go the weekend of the 12th Go down the afternoon of the 11th and stay til Sunday the 14th. But I might not go. I had a bit of a wreck via my trusted MFT..lol He stepped in a hole and it was a deep one that took him down to his nose and of course took me over his head So far I have a pull hamstring from it and either a bruised or cracked rib. Thankfully we were just walking....I will let cha know for sure if I go. Would love to meet you also..Maybe we could meet up somewhere for a ride...How far are yo from lake anna? I have always wanted to ride there...
