    Hit the deck, a newbie!

I'm not that bad, really, I'm not.

Anyway, I was overjoyed to see a message board designated for horse folk, I had to join. So hello there.

As for myself and my background, I've been around horses on and off all my life, I'll ride English, Western, bareback, babyback, whatever fits the occasion. I'm not sure if the general population is geared to more casual company or proffessional talk, but I'll be happy to hang around for either one.

Thanks! Yes I do, a 6 year-old QH gelding. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures on my comp right now, once I do, I'll post them. :)

Oh, it was just a joke. ;) Babyback ribs are a kind of meat, nothing to do with horses whatsoever.

It's sort of like an expression in the US, child in time. It isn't a type of horse :)
