    Hiya!

Hi, my name is Vissa and I love horses! I've been riding for about 3 years, but had to quit half-way as for studies. I recently started riding again... but I have forgot most of my skills. I've been improving at a steady speed... but now I would actually want to buy a horse cause I know how to do most things, just I'm not a major expect of any way.

So I was just wondering if anybody kind enough to help me on my search to find a horse breed that is just right for me. I do jumping and dressage... and I would actually love to play polo... but I'm mainly concentrating on jumping.

So that's what kind of horse I would like... I was mainly looking forward on the breed named as "Hanoverian" because I heard it was good for jumping, eventing and such.

So can anybody tell me advice on this breed, or advice me on another breed better for my requirements (advice such as natural temperement...)

    Thanks loads!

    Vissa

Welcome to the forum! I am new also. Sorry I can't give you any answers to your questions...I just trail ride. Sounds like you have some fun plans. I hope you find the horse you are looking for.

    Welcome

I suggest finding yourself a trainer and taking lessons with them for a while before starting your search for a horse. Your trainer will be able to work with you until you are ready to find a horse and will be able to help you find the right horse.

When searching, you should be focusing on your first horse's level of life experience and training more so than breed. Hanovarians tho are great horses, are very expensive and usually more suitable of higher levels of competition and more seasoned riders.

Good luck with your trainer search, and again welcome to the forum
