Smile HOLA! from Nevada

I live in hot but beautiful Henderson which is right outside from Vegas. I love driving by and seeing the horses graze... I wish I could see more grass though . I love the sunsets here they are so beautiful! whoever lives in Nevada or Arizona can agree with me. HAHA!

Later!

I grew up in Henderson! I lived on Ash Street, right off of Lake Mead Drive (if you know where Sewell Elementary is, Ash is right next to it). My family moved to Missouri ten years ago, and I love being in a place where there's grass and trees (and horses!), but I do miss the sunsets, and going out on Lake Mead, and the buffets (my family would eat at Joker's Wild at least once a month...ah, I can almost taste the crab legs now...). That's about all I miss though...the horses that are out here are more than enough to convince me to stay quite happily.

Haha, so you arrived just in time for the drought. I think the rain moved east with my family...we were there when Vegas had the worst storm in over a hundred years, and the chemical plant (can't think of what the name is, the one in Henderson though) had an explosion. And one of my rabbits gave birth that same night...that was cool, I saw she was gathering fur for a nest so I caught her and put her indoors and got to watch her have her babies. But as far as I'm concerned, the rain can go back to Nevada...we've had two days of sunshine here in the last two weeks!

yep, but last December it snowed 8 inches, it was fun to go out side and play BIG snowball fights with friends... this summer was fine, but when we first moved here it was HOT and to get things worse we didnt have a AC
