From Holland to Canada

Hello everybody,

I'm new here, and I'm trying to find my way on this forum. My name is Kim and I'm 34 years old. I'm from Holland, but we're planning to emigrate to Canada. That's why I became a member of this forum, so I can find more info about horseriding in Canada!

Here in Holland, I have my own horse, a mare named Aviva Savanne, 7 yrs old.

We ride in competitions, I can't tell wich level compared to the Canadian levels. I am also an instructor and a judge for dressage competitions.

This is a little bit about me, I hope to find loads of information on this forum!

Thank you! It's not sure when we will move, it depends on finding a job. We will come over for 1 week in octobre, te check out our possibilities! We also want to look at riding possibilities, and if my horse can be transported too!

Hello! So you're also a bit Dutch, do you have a Dutch surname? Do you speak any Dutch?
We are planning to go to Calgary!

Welcome to the Forum. I have just made the move from the UK to Alberta - outside of Edmonton a couple of hours North of Calgary.

Get up, get going, seize the day. Enjoy the sunshine, the rain, cloudy days, snowstorms, and thunder. Getting on your horse is always worth the effort.
