I had done a search for finding out the proper age of weaning a foal & found this Forum. I am kinda a newbie of 4 years working with horses now & loving it. City boy growing up but always felt at home in the Country. I have always had a knack with animals & it seems that I can pick up on their thoughts at times as they do mine.
I am in the process of braking my 3 year old TWH/Morgan mare whom I helped foal when she was born. She had been pastured for me for 2 years until I had a place fixed up for her. While there she had been in the pasture with TWH "Dr. Adair" whom comes down from TWH "Ebony Masterpiece". On 5/15/09 at 5am I helped her foal her little stud colt, Sir Taury.
I have been searching for whom the buckskin TWH stud is that fathered my mare, & hope to find the info soon. We had bought her black Morgan mother at the auction in Cleveland, TN. Around 3.5 years ago.
I have created an Album & added pics of time lapse.
I am looking forward to reading more of y'alls advice through the posts. Thanks for having me.
