Talking Howdy from Northern California

Hey y'all,

I am a Texan born and raised but moved out here to northern cali just visiting and met my now husband. We just bought our first home this April on 3.4 acres and we own 3 horses.

We have Scout who is turned 2 on April 22nd. He is APHA breeding stock (bay) gelding! I have had him since he was 11 months old and he is my baby. We just had him do his 30 days training and just picked him up on June 29th and I have been riding him everyday and he is sooo wonderful. I just love him.

We just put a down payment on 2 colts. One was born April 25th, 2009 and then the other on April 27th, 2009. I won't be getting them till November when they are weaned! I am truly excited. I just love babies and LOVE working with them. Bonding is the best part. Both are APHA registered, but one is a breeding stock and is starting to turn grey like his dam and then the other is a sorrel overo but BARELY, he only has one mark of white on his back left let by his flank, so he is pretty much solid, but I already love him. I will definitely have my hands full but I have all the time in the world considering I am a stay at home mom with my 23 month old daughter who is naturally easy going.

I am just sooo happy to be apart of this forum and can't wait to talk horses. I will have pictures up shortly just spending alot of time resizing them. :)
