Howdy, from south central Idaho!

Hello everyone! I am from south central Idaho and I have one horse right now. I have been riding my whole life and I used to show Arabs in Cali waaaaay back in the 80s, lol.

My new horse is a Percheron cross that I will just be putting around in the mountains with. I might work on some Dressage with him just to keep us supple for our trail rides.


I am married with 3 kids that are 17, 14 and 10. I have 4 cats and one real cool dog that we rescued off of the highway, and that is how he got his name, lol. He is my 10 yr old's best friend.

Thanks for the compliments! Dog's name is Highway, lol. We call him Hi most of the time. We were coming back from dropping my daughter off at her bus and this little black thing was running along side the road. I slowed down and he started to run after us. So I stopped, opened my window and he was wiggling all over. So I opened the door and he hopped in with our Boxer and he has been ours since then.

I did try to find out if he had owners but no one ever came forward to claim him. He attached himself to my son and they are best buddies now. He is a great dog that refuses to leave the yard even if we want him too, lol.
