Wink Howdy from Texas!

Hi all!
My mom just bought a little 30 acre ranch north of the Austin area. I grew up riding very occationally on trail rides and always loved to run in open fields.

I got my horse Royal a few months ago. He is a very sweet and beautiful 12 year old gelding with blood lines to royal quick dash. He is white and 16.2 hands.. makes quite an impression :).

My mom recently purchased Rivers, a 3 year old line back dun mare with lines to peppy san badger. She is the sweetest most curious horse i've ever met. Loves to come "help" my mom and I weed the pastures (she spreads around all the piles of weeds we rake up and wants to smell every weed we pull).

So far this site has some great advice about training, grooming, etc! I'm learning a lot!
