And I am sure many of you out there agree with that title lol.
I am in my late 20's and feel 200. But that is besides the point. I have over 20 years of experience in the horse world including harness racing, retraining OTTBs, western pleasure and games as well as hunter/jumpers and eventing.
I am currently focusing on eventing and will play in the jumper ring and dressage ring a bit as there is not much for eventing in my neck of the woods.
I am about to try out a 4 year old oldenburg/paint mare who so far has impressed me with what I do know about her and have heard from others who have ridden her. She is a nice solid build, athletic and has a little bit of an attitude which is just what I love in a horse.
I do have to play it on the safe side a bit these days(I say as I am about to take a young horse cross country) as I have had some serious injuries that have caused me to get the "you need to stop riding" lecture from my doctors a few times now. So I have an air-vest on order which I am excited to get as I have heard wonderful things about them and seen them in action a few times.
Anyway I think that about sums it up for me. Catch you around in other threads. Cheers!
