Introducing Myself :)

Hello My names Mel,

I've just moved to (Kiama Downs) NSW Australia

I have a buisness where I do Winter Clipping, Equissage Treatments Show Prep and also Teach Lessons.

I have allways been a big supporter of reschooling Thoughbreds and Standardbreds off the track for a number of years, below are my current two horses, (although I am currently injured and will be out for a while now) can't wait to get back to work and riding :)

Hello,

The bay Is Bella 15.1 hh 10yro (purchased as a 9yro) mare Standardbred (Trained as a Pacer racing name: Itwasalladream)

The black Is Monty 14.3 hh 7yro (purchased as 2yro after being sacked) gelding (Trained as a Pacer racing name :Boltamont) Standardbred

Miss the thoughbreds havent retrained one in a while, but with my back injury im quite a long way away from getting back in the saddle and any new horse purchases will have to be proven quite horses as want to be as safe as possible. So retraining and breaking inn off the track horses is most likely not going to happen any more sadly, may just have to do as much as I can then send to a trainer in future.

We are keeping the above two as they are both provent to be quiet and done well showing and I love competeing them and there is still more I planned to accomplish with in showing with them. I have been trying to find some one to lease the black one the mare is still only green undersaddle so not suitable to lease out.

Hello and welcome to Horse Forum!

How nice to meet another like minded Standardbred lover! I too have spent the last 8 years working with rehomed Standardbreds and have a great passion for the breed. I currently own just one SB mare, Honey, who is a 15hh, dark chestnut mare, which I backed and started a couple of years back. She's my riding partner, I haven't quite met a horse who matches me as well as she does!

Bella and Monty are just gorgeous! I'd love to go showing with my mare... but dressage is our main aim ... just getting back into the saddle after a lengthy injury at present... but we should be on our way soon!

Hope you enjoy it here,
Chelle.
