    An Introduction...

Before I started posted I wanted to introduce myself. I'm Pat, and I got sucked into horses some time ago, but didn't get my first until last year. He was a slaughter bound save out of New Holland auction. He is my baby, and I posted his story on his page:

Since I've got Ransom we've added two others to the mix (working on pages), Vixen and Sarge. Vixen was bought as a co-op with my best friend. She was looking for a trail horse and at the time I was looking for a horse my boyfriend could ride once and awhile so we co-owned her. Sarge is the newest addition. He was bought for my boyfriend and they are BEST buddies. Ransom is a gaited horse, though we don't know what breed. Likely a rocky mountain cross but he looks like a smaller Clydesdale (heavier boned and can have small bits of feathering) but who knows. I ride gaited due to back issues though Vixen and Sarge are trotting horses.

I ride western mostly (if not bareback) and trail ride for the most part. I'm huge into saving wild horses and ending slaughter transports. Ransom and Vixen are rescues from such situations.

My other life is I own and operate a boarding kennel in western PA and also show and breed Australian Shepherds (horses and aussies mix well). I'm owned by my 4 legged furbabies.

Anyway, just wanted to say howdy.
