Talking New from Arizona

My name is Sandie and I live in Glendale, AZ. I am married with 2 kids and 5 dogs of varying sizes (hence the username). I collect Breyer Stablemates and I have a few smaller resins.
I paint, do my own nail art and work around the yard alot. I have been horse crazy since I was little and one of these days, I will own a horse. Boarding is so crazy expensive though.
The last time I was on a horse was about 20 years ago. I would really like to start taking lessons with my daughter (whose 8 and has the horse crazy bug too).
Please feel free to drop me an email or a PM. I'm a member of another forum as well and check other "horse" sites on a daily basis. I just added this one to my favorites.
If there are any members in the Glendale area, I'd love to hear from you! Sometimes my daughter and I will post on Craigslist looking for people to let us come feed their horses apples and carrots. We normally get a great response! I've found that while there are always some bad apples in the bunch-horse people are some of the nicest people I've been around.
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. I'll probably just lurk around for awhile until I can get the feel of the forum~
Thanks for taking the time to read this and have a great day!

Hey there! Welcome to the Forum and hope you enjoy it here :). So if your daughter was bitten by the horsey bug, it probably isn't going away any time soon. If you have any questions, just ask!

Welcome ma'am and enjoy the ride

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.

Hi! I'm Jessi, and I'm also in Arizona :) I grew up in Glendale (57 Ave and Union Hills) but now live in New River. Nice to "meet" you! :)
