New to forum

Hi everyone,

Just let me say, I have found so much wonderful info on the forum here, that I decided to join in the fun. I am a late returner to the horse world. I had a horse as a child and have now gotten back into it after 30 years... when my daughter started showing interest in riding herself- 3 years ago. I loved being around the horses so much again, that we bit the bullet and bought our own horse last year. He is a 12 yr old paint/arab named Dusty. My daughter is working on hunter/jumper stuff with him and I am trying some dressage and just leisurely trail riding. We share the same horse for now, not so sure we need 2 just yet!

But anyway, I am excited to be a part of this world again, and love learning from all you experienced horse owners!

Welcome to the forum!

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot.

WELCOME!!

Horses get under your skin and never really leave. And, it is NEVER too late to get back to them. Thank goodness your daughter helped in this. Horses are such a wonderful way to help a young person grow, IMO.

I hope you like it here as much as I do!

Welcome! Mother & daughter horsewomen, it's a very special connection. I will always have that connection with my daughter and starting it with my granddaughter. Enjoy!
