New to forum, but not horses. plz read my post in training!
Hello, my name is Hikari.... well, it's technically not my real name, but lotsa people call me it and I love it so go ahead and call me it too. It's Japanese for "Light", which is my horse's name. Light is a 11-yr-old (well... we're kinda guessing...) mostly white with reddish brown spots paint mare with blue eyes. I got her November of 2006. My other horse is Sunshine, or Sunny (I swear the names were a coincedence. I re-named Light, we didnt change Sunny's name.) She's... well, we know that she's younger than 5, so she's not quite mature yet.... yeah, the people had her age wrong and a friend came and helped estimate. Anyways, Sunny is mostly reddish-brown but she's part appoloosa so she has little white speckles, and her whole backside turns white in winter. I got her a couple months after Light.
So I've been taking care of my girls for a fair amount of time, but they're still having some behavioral problems... and Sunny has a pretty serious medical issue. We have been taking care of it though. It's just not so good as I would like it to be. ...
Anyways, I'm just going to address each thing one at a time. My first problem is that Light keeps escaping from the paddock. Please read and give me some advice! It's under training. Thank you so much!!!
I still believe in miracles, because there's one standing right in my backyard.
"standing on the edge.... of everything I've never been."
