hey everyone, i'm from canada and have had horses for about 12 years now. i currently have one black QH named chance, i've had him for 5 years and we are working on reining together right now, other then that i can do pretty much anything with him now. we have been through a lot together. anyways, i've been reading around a lot and it seems like everyone here has a lot of really good knowledge!i'm really glad to be a part of the group!hers my boy at his first bigger show
and here he is at a very small fun schooling show, more for just horsing around really then showing.
Where in Canada are you? I am near SEattle. Your horse is quite lovely. It's nice to own a versitile horse, no? Just by chance is that western sadddle a Billy Cook? I have one very similar.
hey i'm in kamloops bc, about 3 hrs from vancouver which isn't far from seattle.yes, it is nice to own a versatile horse but he is still green even though he's 11, he had a fair bit of time off and we are working through quite a few issues right now, it feels like over the past 8 or so months we've gone 10 BIG steps forward and over the past month or so we have now taken 9 big steps back again. yes, the western saddle is a billy cook, i saw it for sale in vancouver and i fell in love with it and had to have it , i love it! soo comfortable except that now that it's broken in the leather on the stirrups has stretched i think and they are a bit too long now and can't go up any further cry: is yours a reining saddle? the plate on the back of mine says billy cook pro reiner.
thank you, chances dad is actually a black and white paint and his brother was a beautiful tricolor...i wish i could have bought him too at the time, he would have been a nice horse by now. chance is the only one that was solid lol.
