Talking New Horse Owner in SF Bay Area :)

I just bought a chestnut sorrel gelding Sock, 6yrs, and I LOVE him! He's my first and I'm so excited to be his new mommy. Though I'm new to horse ownership, I've been riding and training Western for 13 years (7 gymkhana, 5 pleasure/reining). I'm boarding at an amazing barn in Sunol where everyone is very friendly and helpful. I'm ecstatic to have such a great horse and a safe place to keep him, but I'll need lots of advice to start! I hope I'll get some good advice here as well as at the barn. :) Thanks for reading! I'll have some good pictures of my boy and I up soon!
