I own five horses, am not an expert with them and seem to learn new things by the day. I used to ride english as a teen until I obtained a job at a horse breeding farm which my love of horses developed. I learned a lot there. After a few years I quit due to having a child but did continue to volunteer at a local riding stable for disabled. We bought our first horse, well first two horses a little over a year ago.
I have a 6 year old paint, a 2 year old paint, a 6 yr old quarter horse, a 9 year old throughbred, and a 16 year old appy. My 2 yr old we have done so much with... she was given to us with the quarter horse and she was a wild baby. Nobody would handle her, she was not halter broke, etc. My husband and I never gave up and well now she is very lovable. We are working on placing the saddle on her back now with ground manners.
