New from Saskatchewan, Canada

Hi everyone,
My name is Saskia and I live in SK. I own 2 horses at this time.
Flicka is my 6 yo pony mare. She is my riding pony for 3 years now. She is the love of my life for 3 years now. She helped me to get back into riding and build up my confidence for riding again after many years. Eventhough she was very green broke to ride, she taught me a lot.

Freya is my Norwegian Fjord mare and she is 5 years old. I bought her 1.5 year ago. She was never handled and very scared and nervous. Her feet were neglected and looked awfull and her halter was pinching into her skin.
So....lots of groundwork and 5 months later the farrier could start with her and now her feet look great.

I do clicker training with Freya since the summer and she loves it.
I board my horses at my friends place since a few weeks as my pasture turned into a lake and it won't get better soon.
A good thing though! I have a trail buddy now in a beautiful enviroment.

Anyway....hope to have fun here and learn a lot with many new friends.

Thanks for the welcome.
And yes, my horses are really great and very very lovable. They like to be cuddled and keep following me like puppies when I'm with them.
They are a joy to be and work with.
