Newbie form Germany...

Hi!

I sometimes read in this forum a little bit - to read more (and also view pictures ) I have registered me now .
It's very interesting to read about riders and horses from other countries.

I am from Germany and my English ist not so good. If I read it, I mostly realize it, but I can't spoke and write it very well. I think my words and grammar will sometimes sound very funny for you - feel free to correct me, if it sounds too terrible (perhaps I improve it a little bit ).

I own two german draft horses and use them mainly for trekking tours and a little bit working. They called "Luna" and "Lotte" - as you see I have use the names for my nickname
I also have a few Shetland-Ponys and drive them.

Best regards,

LunaLotte

Howdy and welcome to the forum. Your horses are beautiful.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Thank you for your nice welcome

I will give you more pictures soon Compared with american drafts they are much smaller and not so elegant - so I call my drafts often "Elefanten" (=elephants) But I like them very much

@ Heartland: Danke! Sprichst du Deutsch ?

Have a nice day ! (I cogitate about your time... here it's eigth o'clock in the evening... so the sun should be on the way to you )

Ja ein kleines Bisschen. Ich habe 4 Jahre des Deutsch in der Schule studiert. Ich habe viel vergessen, aber es kommt zurück. Es ist nett, Sie zu treffen!

I hope I said all of that correctly! I've been out of school for 5+ years, so it has been awhile.

*Translation: Yes, a little bit. I studied 4 years of German in school. I forgot alot, but it comes back quickly. It is nice to meet you!

Heartland, it's very good
I think German is such a difficult language if it is not your mother tongue; articles for every noun and so much grammar rules and exceptions to learn...
I adore people who learning it ! I don't learn languages very easy, I think with German as a foreign language I would be overextended.
