    Smile Newbie here

I'm new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself and my horses. I'm in VA and have my horses on my own property. They are:

Comet - a little Arab/Saddlebred cross that I've had since he was a little guy. He is chestnut and will be 13 this year.

Merlin - a 'Heinz 57' horse I got for my hubby. Unfortunately my hubby isn't into this kind of horsepower so I put him up for sale.

Sharky - a bay Saddlebred that I just got yesterday! (c: He is 15 and the reason I joined... he is VERY thin. I got him from a girl who had orginally sold him to someone who apparently didn't take care of him very well. When she found out, she took him back and started to look for another home. When I saw him, I just had to have him! I haven't had to deal with putting weight back on a horse before, so I'm hoping some people here can help.

I'm drudging this up because I am reintroducing myself... I ended up getting most of my advice on my skinny-minny (not skinny anymore!) from my vet and since I was so busy I never did really get on here as I planned. I no longer have Merlin... he got a great new home for a girl who was a very nervous rider. But, I am getting a mare I leased out back, so I thought I'd come here to ask some questions regarding possibly breeding her.
