Hello all. I am a new member but have been lurking occasionally for months. I am in my twenties and have been riding for 16 yrs BUT heres the catch.. I rode from 7-14, and then from 22-present. Has some yrs off and am getting back into the swing of things. I have started lessons again a few months ago and went to see a horse for lease last sunday that looks great. My trainer is coming sunday to give me a lesson on him and evaluate us together.
This forum has been a great form of knowledge and laughter, even if I didnt join in on the conversations. Everyone seems great and the horse pictures I've seen have made me envious. I happen to live in a part of florida so urban there is a handful on barns still surviving, if even that many. I have a 2 yr goal to move to NC with the hubby and 3 yr old daughter, then purchase a horse. Its just too expensive here with board at $500 + and a bale of hay for $18.50. Freaking ridiculous. Anyways, hellloo. That's a little about me. I'm sure you will get to know more as I interact with all of you.
