My mom had horses when I was younger, but I actually didn't have any itnerest in them at all at that time. It wasn't until I was eleven and a few years after they had both died that I started to get into it and wanted to take lessons. After a bad experience with leasing a horse and a woman who didn't know what she was doing, we moved somewhere else, and I took lessons there for two years before my trainers gave me my big baby, Twende.
He's an OTTB, and six. He's my hunter/jumper, and I've been training him since he was three. I've been bucked off and fallen off of my own accord in the last three years more times then I can count, but now that he's doing so well, it's all been worth it.
