Texan here!

Hi, I'm Kandice. I live in East Texas - near Tyler. I have 3 Chihuahuas, 2 Labs, 1 cat and now my very first horse! It's been a very hard year, but I'm praying things are looking up and maybe getting somewhat better. I'm very proud to show you all my new girl, Spirit. I posted about her in the horse talk section before I saw this part. Sorry! =] but here's a picture of her.

Welcome to the forum from another Texan YEE-HAW!!. LOL. I must say that Spirit is absolutely stunning, I adore b/w paints.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Welcome.

Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.

Yes I love them! I have a yellow lab and a black lab.. they're a mess, but they're my babies! Although right now they're very protective over me when it comes to Spirit, so I have to kennel them when I'm working with her, she doesn't panic, she just tries kicking them and that scares me. Any other time they don't bother her, it's when she's close by they freak out on me. I don't know how to get them used to her just yet. I'll figure it out though.
