Alright, so, I'm bored. That's where this comes in, eh. I needed a place for me to get everything down so I won't forget (you know, should I fall and get amnesia.) Then again, if I get amnesia, I won't be able to find this. Ah, technicalities.
Lenardo's got an infection in his eye. You know you've got a genius of a horse when he stabs himself in the eye with a thorn while trying to eat off a palo verde tree.
But LOOK HOW CUTE & GOOD & PERFECT HE IS!
I love my horseeee.
I swear, though, every time I get him into a steady work routine and things seem to be going well, something happens. Between the anhydrosis, colic, foot/shoeing issues (a farrier cut almost his entire heel off leaving him with no support), tendon issues, eye issues, all among the many other "issues" he's had, we've only been able to show once in over a year. Once.
I'm not trying to come across as one of those people who is obsessed with showing and doesn't care about anything else, because that's far from how I feel, but we had at least six other shows scheduled that we had to be scratched from because of a health-related problem (twice it was me, though ), so you can probably see where my frustration comes from...
If not, oh well.
So anyways, I'm done with my rant.
Rants are overrated, ehh.
