Well a stable, I'll refer to it by it's initials of AHS, finally hired another trainer and I've been moved up the list of people waiting to take lessons. I like the stable a lot, it's very Pine Hollow-ish (out of the Saddle Club series) as far as amminities go, but it sort of bothers me that their website screams "WE RIDE TO WIN!!!" I'm all for horse shows, but I feel riding is about a special bond with your horse, not a special bond with your trophy case.
The woman at the other stable, we'll also call it by it's initials of RERA, still hasn't e-mailed or called me back. I contacted her three weeks ago, and have gotten only one call back, a message on our answering machine. Obviously she isn't in need of my business.
I'm am just so down right now. I feel like I'm never going to sit on another horse's back ever again, and that truly bothers me. I'm trying so hard not to give up hope, but it is just so hard. I wish somehow, someway, I found the money to afford a horse, but I can't think of any possible way. I've looked into taking a job, but between that and school I would never see my horse anyway.
