Wonderful news, Brock has been leased and an awesome new home. He's loving it there already, on a big block sharing a paddock with a 16.3hh TB gelding of the same age, Benji, and a bunch of horses next door.

We put him in an adjoining paddock first to let him get to know Benji over the fence, but as there was no fuss or squealing we put them in together. Benji spent 5 minutes herding Brock before Brocky waved the white flag (of exhaustion - all that running around!) and Benji went back to graze. So all is sorted there, Benji 1 Brock 0!

However, Brock is absolutely in love with the Standardbred mare next door. She was being all cantankerous to her paddockmates but when Brock came over she was like "Hello handsome!" and immediately started winking and flicking her tail. Now they stand at the fenceline grooming each other and snuffling noses - love at first sight! Brock is such a Casanova...

    So all wonderful news!
