My life with all my horses day after day

Hi! I just want to say something before I begin. I will present you again the horses, my horses, who work with me, who share my life, because I didn't speak in this forum since a long long time ago ^^! First, I'm French, so ... I'm so sorry for all the mistakes that I will probably make ... thank's for understanding.

So, I have a little pony, a french trotter, and a donkey (I've got too three little goats, but it's not really important here ^^). I intend to make show the next years with all my animals. And that's why I work with them with the goal to work in liberty. I try to be attuned to their needs, and to understand what they try to tell me ... because the horse send lots of messages, that the human don't see, or don't understand. To me, if I disregard all these messages, I can't be tricked into working with them in liberty. Maybe this is difficult to understand, but I see what I say (maybe it's the most important ^^).

Today, I work with my french trotter ... and I teach him to be bent the correct way on the circle. And my horse is very sensitive, and it's a real pleasure to ride him. I just need to put my leg behind the girth and my horse is bent. I forgot to say that I ride without bridle, but with a rope halter. I share with you this video (July 11, 2012) ... tell me what you think ...

    Hello!
Today, I was keen to work on the rein back, on the downward and the upward transitions with my french trotter. I think he made a good job! He was attuned to my requests ... but just a little problem ... when I expect from him to stop, he tends to disregard and he continues to walk (I use just my weight). Whereas, when I tell him to go faster, he prefers, so he replies easily and more quickly.
Tomorrow, I probably work the "direction" (always with my legs, and my weight), and so, on the handiness of my horse. This could be really interesting. I will tell you this tomorrow ;)!!
