PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

The Journal section of the forum is a place for members to chronical their personal journey with horses and with life.

Unlike other threads on the forum, discussions that occur in this area are in the control of the Journal owner as they can set the direction, topics and tone.
The author of the Journal can choose to allow or not allow comments from other members and they can Report any comments that they feel aren't in keeping with the direction they wish the Journal topic to continue in and ask the Moderating team to edit or remove them.
Journal authors can ask the Moderating team to block specific other members from posting in their Journal

Things such as advice and critiques should come about by request from the Journal author only.

While participation in this section is open to all members, please be aware that the forum’s Rules and Conscientious Etiquette Policy will be strictly enforced.

Conscientious Etiquette Policy

Topics that interest the Journal owner can be discussed here as long as the conversation stays within the rules and policies of the forum.

Guest commenters in journals are asked to likewise participate within the guidelines of this policy as a courtesy to the host.

If you find yourself frustrated, uninterested, or in vehement disagreement with the journal host or other commenters and unable to find a way of expressing yourself in a way that coincides with the above policy, then it might be best to not involve yourself in the discussion.

If you read a post that you believe to be in violation of the rules, policy, or atmosphere of the Journal section please make use of the report feature to bring it to the attention of the Moderating Team.

NOTE.
Journals that have no active participation by the author for a period of time greater than 12 months will be closed until the author asks for them to be reopened.
If members want to take a break from their Journal or stop posting in it altogether, we can also close it for them and will re-open it at some later point in time.
Simply report the first post in your Journal and ask us to close it for you.

Thank-you,
The Horseforum.com Moderating Team.
