Well thought I'd start a wee log about our two and there progess. Ruby is a tb mare who came off the track, she then went on to a home for breeding. When the breeders retired they sold her onto a new home who left her in a dark barn just throwin feed in. When she got a womb infection due to not be cleaned probably her breeding days came to a end. She came to us after this she was very very nervous, don't cope with raised voices or fast movements at all. She will now stand to be groomed even on her neck which was the scarest thing ever. AIM FOR 2011- restart and work ruby. RILEY's a young coloured boi. He was due to make 14.3 but it now 15hh and still growing. He's been with me since 12 months old. Before this we don't know but we do know he didn't have a pleasant introduction to humans. He's a little bit odd, if you let him, when he feels like it he will fight you but if you ignore him he behaves prefectly. He's not a fan of rugs but now wears them, he loves children tho!

Well riley didn't really have a good day today, he was not the best with his manners. Throw himself a bit and wanted to trot around. Mind you he's been inside for a week and there was snow on the deck. He lives the snow and goes loppy! Being 3 I think I'd maybe be the same. He settled right back down! Ruby was lovely, very nice little school session. Starting to work throw her body and balance herself nicely. For a ex-racer she's taking very nicely to schooling!
