Santana- Santana was a police horse for 10 years, working as a guard horse in Florida for a jail. When we bought him he had been sitting in a pasture for 5 years. When we went and looked at him, we fell in love. We told them we'd be back with cash and a trailer. The next day we went out of town for 3 days, and on the way back, we stopped at a Tractor Supply Chan Co. Store and bought out first bridle. I was still under the impression that we didn't have him yet. Instead of going home we went to the barn where we were boarding then. When I saw him out in the pasture I flipped. So we gave him a few days to assist, then started riding. It was my first horse, so I still didn't know a whole lot.
Millie- Millie was born a ranch horse, where she worked for a while. She was then sold to a farrier where she was trained in barrels. She became a national barrel champ. She then traded owners a few times before I bought her for 500$.
